Welcome to our spring newsletter, the sun is shining and the daffodils and tulips are blooming. We hope you have been able to get out in the warm weather.
We have three new carers Ann, Jenny and Terri who some of you will have met whilst they have been shadowing. All three have finished their training and will be out working alone soon.
In March we said goodbye to Tony who had been with us for nine years we had a small party and we wished him well for his retirement. Clare also left us after twelve years to set up her own gardening business.
Alex has passed her level 2 qualification which is a big achievement as English is not her first language and I am sure you will all join me in congratulating her.
We have booked The Hut on the seafront for the 11th June for a fish and chip lunch and hopefully a walk along the prom if it is warm enough! I have included a separate invitation.
One of our friends has sent us a poem. Please remember if there is anything you would like to be included in this newsletter let us know.
The Rose Bush
I had a little ROSE BUSH
I planted it with CARE
I tended it so lovingly
Though branches were so bare
In time my little ROSE BUSH
Grew into a tree
It blossomed with ‘nice people’
Who now all care for me.
