Fulfilling and fully supported careers in care in Felixstowe Suffolk
At Rose Care we support new and experienced carers in their professional development and provide all of our carers with the support they need to deliver the highest quality of reliable care to individuals in their own home.
We have made a conscious decision to keep our business small-scale and personal. As a result, it’s not just our clients who look upon Rose Care as an extended family – again and again our employees do too. We value all of our staff and operate an open door policy. Take a look at our ‘Looking After Carers’ video here to find out more.
Our impressively high level of staff retention for our sector is a key contributing factor to the long-term success of our home care company. Due to inevitable changes in people’s personal circumstances however, we do invariably have vacancies for carers living local to Felixstowe.

To work at Rose Care you do not have to have experience a kind - a friendly, compassionate nature is what is important.
Rose Care has its own dedicated training room at its office in Felixstowe Suffolk. It is here that we brief all care staff new to the team about their clients, schedules, infection control etc.
It's also where we carry out full training, refresher or update sessions, covering matters from food hygiene to medication and mental health capacity. Health and safety training takes place here too, but our carers undertake their manual handling training in Ipswich.
New carers to Rose Care can expect a supervision session every week for the first four weeks of employment, then every 12 weeks thereafter.
Regular chats with Senior Carers and our Team Leader provide the opportunity to share client feedback and any issues or concerns you may have, as well as to discuss hours. That said, our open door policy means that there’s always an opportunity to talk things through with someone who can listen and help make a difference.
We talk you through our induction process and training at Rose Care.
