At Rose Care, we often accompany our clients to medical appointments at surgeries in and around Felixstowe or at the hospital in Ipswich.
Sometimes our clients request that we stay with them for the duration of the appointment for reassurance and as a valuable second pair of ears. It can be helpful to have someone to check back with, to alleviate confusion or worry and to assist in remembering the detail when relaying information to concerned friends or family.
Our care-givers can also accompany clients on outings or to help them attend gatherings, such as our Rose Care Club events.
Our companionship or ‘sitting’ service makes it possible for family carers to take time for themselves.
Our friendly carers will provide personal care, meals and companionship whilst you take a well deserved break.
Sometimes this might be an hour or two just sitting quietly with them or perhaps sharing a board game or playing cards.
Taking your loved one out for a walk or drive might be another option.
Whatever their preference, we will ensure that they are comfortable and well looked after as if you were there yourself.
All our carers are covered by Rose Care’s public liability insurance.
We would however expect any client engaging housework support to have household insurance to cover any breakages or damage.
