As a company we were honoured to be asked to be in the Parliamentary Review a collection of companies writing about the work they do which is distributed to all the MPs. We were asked to write about what care services we provide and the challenges that small care companies are facing now and in the long term. As you will be aware from the news, social care is in crisis, as people live longer they have more complex needs. At Rose Care we are committed to looking after people in their own homes for as long as possible. We have a skilled workforce who are dedicated to giving good care and have an ethos of going above and beyond for our clients.
In the last year we have been able to grow our workforce to thirty carers who are chosen for their caring attitude and values. Some members of our team and friends have took part in the Alzheimer Society’s Memory Walk in Ipswich a charity which is close to us all having experience of loved ones with the disease as well as looking after clients with dementia. The team that took part raised £1400.
We also celebrated the first year of our Rose Care Club, this is a club which provides activities for our client’s accompanied by our carers. We enjoyed an outing to the Felixstowe Museum where we were very well looked after and enjoyed tea and cake after our tour. Another of our visits was to The Ferry Boat Inn. We had Fish and Chips at the Hut on a sunny day in June and a Christmas Party at the Royal British Legion with the Causton School Choir singing for us.
This year we will be launching a new website which will give more detail of what as a company we do and who we are. Our office is in Walton High Road and we always welcome enquires from people about care packages or if you would like to join our friendly team. The office is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday but there is someone on the end of the phone outside of these hours.
