This year for the first time in two years we were able to hold our Rose Care Christmas Party.
We held it at the Old Felixstowe Community Centre which we decorated for the occasion. The office Christmas tree made it's way to the hall along with some tinsel and table decorations to make the hall festive.
The Facts bus assisted with lifts to and from the hall. The drivers and helpers were very kind and made sure all our clients were safe.
The entertainment was provided by The Kingsfleet Primary school choir who sang a selection of Christmas songs and encouraged us to join in. We were also very pleased that Jamie Clarke could join us. Jamie sung and entertained us and one of our clients enjoyed a dance with Jamie.
We also used the occasion to thank Sharon Clarke one of our carers who has decided to retire. Penny presented Sharon with a card and present from her fellow carers.
An afternoon tea of sandwiches, mince pies, cake and of course cups of tea rounded off the afternoon's entertainment.
We look forward to our next event in the new year which will be a visit to a local garden centre. Details to follow.
