Following a career in care, Kellie supports other carers within the Rose Care team, as well as our clients and their family members.

Background

Born in Suffolk, Kellie has lived here all her life and worked in the care sector from the age of 17. She undertook roles in childcare and local residential homes before joining Rose Care as a carer in 2019, progressing to the position of Senior Carer within the company in 2020.

Kellie has a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and will be working towards her Level 3 in the near future.

Supporting the team, so they can better support others

On a day-to-day basis, Kellie balances supporting members of the overall care team with her own schedule of regular care calls to Rose Care clients. She steps in to assist other carers in emergencies and also works alongside health and social care professionals.

As part of the senior team, Kellie undertakes ‘on call’ duties, helping other carers, clients, and family members out of office hours.
